This holiday season I was busy making many gifts for My Secret Santa partners and my kids. I finally finished an afghan for my son in the colors that he likes. I didn't take a picture of it though. It was crocheted using a Q hook and with 4 strands of yarn. So there isn't anything special about it. At least he liked it. That's the important thing.
Here is a picture of my first needlefelted doll. This took an incredible amount of work. It was also a lot harder than I imagined. But it was fun to do and I hope to make more in the future. But right now I'm taking a break as I got "needlefelted" pooped! The doll has clothes made from felt with beadwork. She is holding a dragonfly and a wand. Her wings are cut from a transparency sheet.
I really suck at taking photos!
I also made a beaded on felt dragonfly pin and beaded stocking ornaments for the ornament swap.
I almost forgot....I spent alot of time beading a felt book jacket for an ATC binder. Another gift for one of my secret santa partners.
I also had a small quilting kit and made this little pig applique wall hanging as a secret santa gift too.
